A F-16C belonging to the 314th Fighter Squadron at Holloman Air Force Base crashed at approximately 8:45 a.m. on Nov. 25.

The crash site is at northwest of Salinas Peak near Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. The pilot ejected safely and was sent to a local medical facility.
The unit was recently activated at Holloman Air Force Base on Jul. 16.
