South Korea’s former Chief of Naval Operations and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff has been questioned whether he and his family memebers took money from arms dealer, Ham Tae-heon, in exchange for influencing the purchase of 8 AW159 naval helicopters in 2012.

Seven former and incumbent military personnel were arrested over the scandal and one of them allegeded that he took orders from Adm. Choi Yoon-hee.
Prosecutors also found suspicious money transactions between Ham and Choi’s son.
