A group of retired admirals and generals who worked on missile defense portfolios during their careers have threw their support behind the Joint Land Attack Cruise Missile Defense Elevated Netted Sensor System (JLENS), Defense One reports. One of the proponents, retired Brig. Gen. Kenneth Todorov said the platform wasn’t ideal but he “love the capability that [JLENS] brings.”
“The platform is not great, but let’s not focus on the platform. Let’s focus on the capabilities that are brought by the platform.”
