Greek and Turkish fighters engaged in brief dogfight on Dec. 29

Eight Turkish military aircraft entered Greek air space nine times on Dec. 29 and some of the aircraft were engaged in a brief dogfight with Hellenic Air Force fighters.

Six of the Turkish fighters were escorting two CN-235 aircraft and two of the fighters were armed, a source privy to the information said.
