South Korean President Park Geun-hye said her government will review requests by Washington to deploy a THAAD air defense missile unit to the Korean peninsular.

“Taking the North’s nuclear and missile threats into consideration, I will review the issue of deploying THAAD here based on security and national interests. That is the bottom line,” Park said on TV.
Seoul had previously reject overtures by America to have the THAAD system deployed in South Korea due to strong objections from China.
