The two Chinese military aircraft that flew over the Sea of Japan on Jan. 31 had entered the Korean Air Defense Identification Zone, prompting the RoKAF to issue a warning over the radio.
The Y-9JB and KJ-200 were close to Socotra Rock and the aircrew identified themselves and flew out of the area.
