Bronze bell recovered from IJN I-400 submarine aircraft carrier

During a test dive last week, the Hawaii Undersea Research Laboratory (HURL) recovered the bronze bell from the wreckage of Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) I-400 submarine aircraft carrier.

The bronze bell will be on display at the USS Bowfin Submarine Museum after a year-long stabilization process.
