Philippine FA-50PH pilots will get to dogfight against Hawker Hunters during Balikatan 2016

This year’s Balikatan exercise will see Philippine Air Force FA-50PH pilots learning air combat maneuvers and air intercept techniques from U.S. military pilots.

To make the training more realistic, the United Sates will lease two Hawker Hunters from ATAC to act as aggressors. Two Hunters, N321AX & N322AX, were spotted transiting Atsugi, Japan on Mar. 17.
