First F-117 pilot to head the U.S. Air Force

The Obama administration has nominated Air Force Vice Chief of Staff Gen. David L. Goldfein to be the 21st chief of staff of the Air Force.

Goldfein will become the first F-117 pilot to head the flying branch. He has 4,200 hours on the T-37, T-38, F-16C/D, F-117A Nighthawk, MQ-9, and MC-12W.
