One of the two crew members aboard a VPAF Su-30MK2V that crashed on Jun. 14 has been rescued by a fishing boat. Maj. Nguyen Huu Cuong was found at around 5 a.m. on the next day, the other pilot, Col. Tran Quang Khai, is still missing.

Nguyen revealed that both of them ejected from the stricken aircraft and he saw Tran’s parachute floating in the sea before they drifted apart.
