The Norwegian Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System 2 (NASAMS 2) will be boosted with longer-range missiles as well. This could be the AMRAAM-ER that Raytheon is developing.
To fund for these new purchases, the government has recommended an additional spending of $19.7 billion.
