Russia offered to turn transponder on for certain flight routes

Russian ambassador to NATO Alexander Grushko said Moscow is willing to have its military pilots turn on their aircraft’s transponders on certain flight routes if NATO reciprocate.

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg welcomed the move but added that NATO jets are already flying with their transponders switched on.
