F-15E with new Advanced Display Core Processor II makes first flight

A F-15E with the new Advanced Display Core Processor II made its first flight at Eglin Air Force Base on Jul. 8.

A new processor is needed for the jet’s mission computer so that the fighter can manage new capabilities such as the Eagle Passive/Active Warning Survivability System, IRST and the APG-82(V)1 AESA radar.
