Israel to take delivery of its Air Force One next year

Plans by the Israeli government to buy a commercial airline and covert it into a VVIP jet is progressing well and news media in Israel say the aircraft will be delivered next year.

Earlier it was reported that a Boeing 767 will be acquired for conversion, which includes the installation of self-defense suites.

The budget for this project is reported to cost $70 million.
