USN says T-45C crash comment was ‘speculation’

The director of an ambulance company in Mississippi told the local radio that a VT-9 T-45C that crashed last week was caused by someone who “hit the wrong button and were ejected.”

But a U.S. Navy public affairs officer said his comments were merely “speculation.”

“We don’t know what happened yet,” Lt.j.g. Elizabeth Feaster said.
