F-15J had emergency landing at Komatsu airbase

A JASDF F-15J was forced to make an emergency landing at 11:20 local time on Oct. 3 after the pilot reported issues with the jet’s braking system.

The aircraft was on a training flight and the airplane landed safely. The airport was closed for around 20 minutes during the incident.

  1. I’m an old retired Eagle Keeper. This looks like routine emergency landing, probably had an anti skid warning light. Worst case on these if if they decided to have him engage the barrier with the tail hook.
