235 Canadian officials working on fighter competition had to sign permanent NDAs

The Canadian government ordered 235 civil servants involved in the upcoming competition to replace the CF-18 to sign a permanent non disclosure agreement (NDA) in January this year.

A spokesman said it was necessary so that to remind “employees of their obligations to keep secrets.”

The move has been criticized by the opposition. Saying it was an attempt by the Liberal government to cover up its decision to buy 18 Boeing Super Hornets.

“My suspicion is that the Liberals don’t want anyone talking about how this has been completely politicized, or that this isn’t the plane that National Defence was recommending,” said James Bezan.
