Iranian Defense Minister Hossein Dehghan told reporters that the country is keen to buy the Sukhoi Su-30 fighter as part of the modernization program of the Iranian Air Force.
“The purchase of this fighter is on the agenda of the Defence Ministry,” Dehghan was quoted as saying.
Tasneem news agency added that Dehghan indicated Tehran is willing to allow Moscow to use the former’s air bases for strikes in Syria.
