Northrop Grumman is out of the T-X competition

Northrop Grumman and partner BAE Systems announced on Feb. 1 that they are withdrawing from the U.S. Air Force’s T-X jet trainer competition.

The press release said remaining in the competition “would not be in the best interest of the companies and their shareholders.”
