Defence Minister Hans Peter Doskozil said at a news conference in Vienna that it was his duty “to report facts relevant for criminal prosecution and to claim compensation for the Austrian taxpayers’ damage.”

A spokesperson from Airbus said the company only found out about the court case from the media and cannot comment on anything.
