F-35A, AF-2, has started testing the brake parachute system at Edwards Air Force Base on Apr. 16, the Norwegian ministry of defense announced.

The system has been ordered by Norway and Netherlands for their F-35A fleet.
Testing will move to Eielson Air Force Base later to evaluate its operation on icy runways.
