Defence Minister Mario Kunasek said new developments require a reassessment of the decision. The German government imposed a fine of $99 million to Airbus to end the investigation of alleged corruption in the sale of 15 Eurofighters to Austria.

Austria’s chief lawyer Wolfgang Peschorn however ruled out any new deal with the industry unless there is compensation to his country.
