EA-18G diverted to Grant County as student EWO had symptoms of hypoxia

The U.S. Navy has explained the reason behind the emergency diversion of a EA-18G to Grant County International Airport last week.

A spokesperson told Flight Global that a student electronic warfare officer (EWO) had symptoms of hypoxia during the flight.

The pilot decided to descend and make a landing at the nearest airport as a precaution.
