India’s first Rafale has flown

The Indian Express disclosed that the first of 36 Rafale fighters for India has flown last month and is now busy testing India-Specific Enhancements installed on board.

The jet will also be the last aircraft to be delivered to India as French and Indian pilots need time to certify the new components.

The article disclosed that India is asking for thirteen enhancements such as Helmet Mounted Display, Low Band Jammer and towed decoy.
