Taiwan announced that it will install the Auto-GCAS system when it upgrades its F-16 to the V-variant.
The decision was made after a fatal crash involving a F-16 in June.
The island will also increase the budget allocated for the upgrade program from $4.21 billion to $4.56 billion. This will allow Taipei to buy more air-to-air missiles.
