Lockheed Martin given contract to build Homeland Defense Radar-Hawaii (HDR-H)

Lockheed Martin says it has been awarded a $585 million contract by the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) to design, develop and deliver its Homeland Defense Radar-Hawaii (HDR-H) in Oahu, Hawaii.

The defense giant says HDR-H will leverage on the development of its Long Range Discrimination Radar (LRDR), currently under construction in Clear, Alaska.
