Kommersant has obtained confirmation from Russia’s Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) that India is requesting to assemble another 18 Su-30MKI fighters for $1 billion.

This will allow India to form one more squadron, bring the number of units equipped with the fighter to 14.
