A scholarship in memory of the late U.S. Air Force Thunderbird pilot Maj. Stephen “Cajun” Del Bagno has been established by the nonprofit National Air, Sea & Space Foundation.
The National Air, Sea & Space Foundation hosts the annual Melbourne Air & Space Show. Del Bagno last public performance before he was killed in a crash was at the show in March 2018.
Recipients will be able to use the funds for tuition or flight fees at the Florida Institute of Technology.
