India planning new conventional submarines that fire at least 12 LCAMs

The Indian Navy is planning to build six conventional diesel-electric submarines that can carry at least 12 Land Attack Cruise Missiles (LACM) each.

The boats will be almost 50 per cent bigger than the current Kalvari-class.
