KC-46’s new locks undergoing FAA certification

The KC-46’s new locks to hold cargo and passenger seats in place is now undergoing FAA certification, Air Force Magazine reports.

Air Mobility Command said it expects to retrofit existing aircraft with the new locks starting from early next month.

At two planes per week, the work is slated to be complete by March 2020.
