Last USN Super Hornet Block II goes to VFA-34

The U.S. Navy (USN) has taken delivery of its last Super Hornet Block II jet on Apr. 17. The aircraft is destined for NAS Oceana to be assigned with VFA-34.

The first two Block III aircraft is expected to delivered by June. The jets will be used for testing at NAS Patuxent River and Naval Air Weapons System (NAWS) China Lake.

Capt. Jason Denney, Program Manager of the F/A-18 and EA-18 Program Office (PMA-265), also disclosed that Kuwait will take delivery of its Super Hornets from next year.
