F-16V would require tungsten ballast to adjust CG

H/T Steve. The Pentagon has put up a solicitation for tungsten ballast to be installed on upgraded F-16s. The installation of newer AESA radar and avionics have resulted in weight savings.

The ballast is need in order for the jet to maintain its centre of gravity (CG).
