AeroVironment gets $76 million contract from U.S. Army

The U.S. Army has given AeroVironment a $76 million contract through a Joint Urgent Operational Need Statement for the Switchblade loitering missile system.

The one year contract comes with two additional one-year options. Deliveries will start from September 2020. It is managed by the Army’s Tactical Aviation and Ground Munitions (TAGM) project office.
