South Korea has postponed a decision to relocate Daegu airport, a civilian airport that is also home to its F-15Ks, after protest from the county of Uiseong.

While Uiseong is willing to host the new base, it is unwilling to co-host the new airport with Gunwi county.

A poll in January found that local residents approved the relocation.

A new decision will be made by Jul. 31, if Gunwi is still unwilling to accept the co-host solution, the relocation effort will be abandoned and restart from scratch.
