The Japan Coast Guard is to evaluate the Sea Guardian unmanned air vehicle starting from today.
Testing of the General Atomics aircraft will take place in Sanriku and Sea of Japan. It will operate out of JMSDF Hachinohe Air Base. The evaluation will complete on Nov. 10.
During this period, the drone will fly for 13 missions with 150 hours airborne.
