Japan is purchasing three GQM-163A supersonic sea skimming targets from Northrop Grumman, the Pentagon announced on Nov. 3.

This will be produced under the Lot 14 full rate production contract. Sixteen targets will go to the U.S. Navy.
Work is to be completed by December 2023.
