Travis Air Force Base has partnered with Easy Aerial to roll out the first automated drone-based perimeter security system at a U.S. Air Force installation on Dec. 11.
Whenever there is a fence alarm, fire alarm or other distress call, the Smart Air Force Monitoring System, can be programmed to automatically deploy from its base station and autonomously navigate to the triggered site to provide complete, unparalleled situational awareness, says the press release.
