Skyborg has flown, borrowing the body of a UTAP-22

Skyborg, the U.S. Air Force’s low-cost, attritable unmanned air vehicle, has its autonomy core system (ACS) flown aboard a Kratos UTAP-22 tactical unmanned vehicle on Apr. 29.

The two-hours and ten minute flight test from Tyndall Air Force Base verified the system’s basic aviation capabilities and response to navigational commands.
