At MADEX 2021 in Busan, South Korean defense firm LIG Nex1 intends to showcase the Korean-made Goalkeeper that it intends to offer to the South Korean navy for its CIWS-II program.
South Korea wants a new generation CIWS that has the same barrel and ammunition carriage system as the Goalkeeper. The CIWS-II will be integrated into the future aircraft carrier, destroyers, and frigates.
