The Republic of Korea Marine Corps (ROKMC) stood up its Marine Aircraft Group on Dec. 1.
The launch ceremony in Pohang was attended by ROKMC Commandant Lt. Gen. Kim Tae-sung and Lt. Gen. Steven R. Rudder, the commander of U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific.
A joint agreement was signed at the sidelines to share aviation technologies between their forces, enhancing interoperability between the two militaries.
