A Indian Air Force Mi-17V5 helicopter with the country’s Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Gen. Bipin Rawat, on board has crashed in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu today.
Video footage online shows the wreckage in flames.
It was reported to be on its way to the Defence Services College located at Wellington.
