Almost $300 million had been spent on converting the Boeing 767-300ER for government use.

  1. Does the aircraft have air to air refuelling capability like Air Force One does? If so, then it was worth it.

Otherwise, it would have been smarter to buy a VC-37 and convert a P-8 with windows added to the fuselage along with air to air refuelling.

Best thing to do would be to sell the aircraft to the USAF in exchange for two or three F15EXs.

The USAF will use it to add to Presidential by support
