A AH-1Z attack helicopter assigned to HMLA-773 made a hard landing in an open field outside the fence line of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst on Jan. 6.
Two Marines on board the helicopter were transferred to nearby medical facilities, the Marine Corps said in a statement.
