Black Hawks that crash near ski resort have been airlifted out

Two Utah National Guard Black Hawk helicopters that crash near a ski resort in the Rocky Mountains on Feb. 22 have been airlifted out of the area.

A CH-47 from Nevada National Guard was used to sling load the helicopters and brought them to the Heber Valley Airport. The rotorcraft will be loaded on trailers and brought to Utah Army Aviation Support Facility.

The incident happened when both aircraft were attempting to touch down on a landing zone and a rotor blade broke off. The part struck the other helicopter.
