The Pentagon has awarded AeroVironment a $19 million contract on Apr. 12 to deliver RQ-20 Puma AE systems to Ukraine.
The statement did not say how many systems are being sent to Ukraine and work will be performed in Simi Valley, California.
U.S. Army Contracting Command will be overseeing the implementation of the contract and AeroVironment has to complete deliveries by May 30. The company will also provide contractor logistics support and training to Ukrainians.
