The rocket lifted off from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in the Gobi Desert. Afterward, it was tracked by the U.S. Space Force’s 18th Space Defense Squadron (18 SDS) to be in a 346 by 593 kilometer orbit inclined by 50 degrees.

A reusable spacecraft that was launched in 2020 had stayed in orbit for 2 days and released a payload before landing back in China.
