The testing and training involved using the FK-3 missile system to test its detection and operational capabilities. This system is linked to the air situation picture from a mobile radar and from the Air Force.

The testing focused on preparing the system, from receiving target information to verifying and confirming it, to the simulated firing of the ground-to-air missile and hitting the target. The purpose of this training was to demonstrate the readiness and efficiency of the air defense system of the Air and Coastal Defense Command unit.

The FK-3 air defense missile system is the export variant of the Chinese HQ-22 air defense missile system develop by China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC). The missile fired by the FK-3 is capable of hitting targets up to a height of 80,000 ft.
