Iranian Air Force to fly 40 aircraft at National Army Day Parade

Iran will mark its National Army Day on Apr. 18, an annual event that showcases the country’s military progress and capabilities. This year’s parade was marked by the presence of over 40 locally produced and non-locally manufactured fighter jets, including the Saeqeh, Kowsar, F-7, F-14, F-4, MiG-29, and Su-24s, which will perform aerial maneuvers over the capital and other parts of the country.

The parade involved units from the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Air Defense Force, displaying advanced equipment such as missiles, tanks, armored vehicles, rifles, UAVs, fighter jets, radar systems, and air defense missile systems. The event is seen as an opportunity for the Iranian Army to showcase its latest weaponry and military progress.

Air Force Commander Brig. Gen. Hamid Vahedi emphasized the importance of the parade in enhancing the specialized knowledge of pilots, especially young pilots, and ensuring the preservation and protection of the country’s air frontiers. He noted that the parade would bring a message of friendship and peace to neighboring friendly countries while assuring all those who love the Islamic Republic of Iran.
