The completion of the 500th unit of the Bayraktar TB2, Turkey’s first indigenous armed unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), was celebrated with great enthusiasm during a ceremony held at Baykar Technologies’ state-of-the-art technology center located in Istanbul’s Başakşehir district.
The ceremony itself revolved around the symbolic exit of the Bayraktar TB2, designated with the tail number T500, from the production line. This momentous occasion elevated the total production of these advanced drones to an impressive count of 580 units, inclusive of the 80 UAVs that have already been successfully deployed.
