First USAF T-38 to complete Pacer Classic III modifications

Technicians in the Ogden Air Logistics Complex’s 575th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas, recently completed the first aircraft in the T-38 (Pacer Classic III) modification program.

The first completed T-38 Talon from the PACER Classic III program is unveiled July 31, 2015, at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph. Pacer Classic III (PC III) represents the largest single structural modification ever undertaken on the T-38 aircraft and will extend the service life of the modified aircraft by 15-20 years. The program will extend the life of the T-38 Talon to 2029.
